| Shirley Heights is a former military lookout installation on a hill overlooking English Harbor. The view from up there is spectacular. Every Sunday afternoon and evening people drive up to the Heights to eat BBQ, watch the sunset, listen to a steel band, dance, etc. Turns out these pictures were taken on Sunday Dec 31 2000, which means I can say I watched the sun set on the 20th century from Shirley Heights, Antigua. |
